In order to help customers compare similar loans, we use the following parameters in conducting our rate survey: A conforming loan amount $417k, sales price $521k. A 475k loan with a 600K sales price is used for jumbo rate comparison. Each loan is a purchase transaction, 720 credit score, 30 day rate lock, taxes and insurance being escrowed, single family primary residence located in California, fully documented loan. Fees only include those which are charged by the lender or broker. Third party fees are not added into the survey.

The survey is simply conducted by going to the web sites of the listed lenders and entering the aforementioned loan parameters. Mortgage rates may change at any point during a given day so site visitors may wish to verify rates on their own. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the rates that are posted.
